Monday Night Community Gathering
The BCSS community meets every Monday at 6:30 PM Mountain Time in the Labyrinth Room at Heart of Steamboat United Methodist Church and online through Zoom.
If you join online, you will be able to participate along with those sitting in the room.
Join Tim and the community as we explore our practice and the path together. Everyone is welcome.

What to Expect
We are a fairly informal community, both in person and online.
When attending in person, we remove our shoes at the entrance to the room. Hot tea and snacks are available, along with chairs and meditation cushions.
We usually begin with a few chants, which are projected on a screen. You are welcome to join in or remain silent. We then have a brief meditation followed by a teaching from Tim Olmsted.
Tim may invite newcomers to introduce themselves. Because many members attend online, we ask in-person participants to use a microphone so everyone can hear.
At the end of the evening, we offer closing chants and spend some time together while putting away the chairs and cushions.
Weekly Teachings
Monday night teachings are recorded and published regularly. This collection is a valuable resource for anyone exploring meditation, Buddhism, and the path.
Stay Informed
Occasionally, the Monday night schedule changes because of holidays, retreats, or other community events. Check the calendar or subscribe to the weekly BCSS email for current information.
