“In Love with the World” Book Study Club:

BCSS is excited to announce a book club featuring Mingyur Rinpoche's new book, In Love with the World, A Monk's Journey Through the Bardos of Living and Dying. There are a number of ways you can participate. Tergar is offering an online course called "Dying Every Day: The Essence of the Bardos" that is based on the book. This course begins September 4th and is very comprehensive; it offers teachings on the Bardos, weekly video teachings from Mingyur Rinpoche, a workbook, teachings from Tim Olmsted and Myoshin Kelley, webinars, practice interviews and a discussion forum. This course requires a subscription to Vajrayana online, and you can can sign up here.

Registering for the course is not required to join us for the book club. You are welcome to just read the book and join in on the discussion, or if you would just like to come socialize and hear about the book, you can do that, too! The first meeting will be Wednesday, September 25th at 6pm at Marchele's house at 355 4th St. We will be discussing Part I of the book at this meeting. Please bring an appetizer to share. We will meet again towards the end of October, date TBA, to discuss Part II of the book.
